Hypertension

It is not necessarily a disease of aging and neither essential nor idiopathic !!! The age of a Man is as old as his arteries and healthy arteries is happiness !!!

Blood Pressure is a sign of Disease

Sick Circulatory system, Sick heart, blood vessels & blood causes the pressure to rise. No one dies of this sign, they die from failing tissues.

How prevalent is high BP ?

Nearly ⅓ of the population suffers from Hypertension with BP more than 140/90 mm Hg. It is conventionally believed that the heart pushes blood forward like a pump but stops it ; it twists the collected blood in the form of whirlpool ( vortex inside the left ventricle ) into the aorta which can generate the kinetic force by itself to keep up the circulation. Circuit : Heart - artery ( Mars )- capillaries - vein ( Venus ) Upanishads mentions , " heart is an inverted lotus with its base slightly towards the left & Circulation occurs by God’s energy "

Why does blood pressure rise?

The rise in blood pressure is a compensatory response or adaptation to stress , for example .

  • In the form of clogged arteries or inadequate blood vessel relaxation , it is to keep up the perfusion throughout the body

What is the real cause of Hypertension?

More than 90 % of Hypertension is due to

  • High insulin levels causing excess sodium and water retention , increasing the blood volume and hence systolic BP
  • Insulin resistance at the endothelial cells lining the blood vessels causes decreased nitric oxide production thence constriction of blood vessels producing increased vascular resistance thereby raises diastolic BP
  • Hyperinsulinemia promotes vascular smooth muscle proliferation and increases vascular resistance
  • It is often associated with low levels of Magnesium and Potassium which are relaxing minerals for blood vessels
Normal High Insulin Causes excess
sodium and water retention

Symptoms of High BP

  • Asymptomatic mostly and often diagnosed on routine checkups
  • Headache , fatigue and lightheadedness are other symptoms

What is the protocol followed routinely in conventional medicine for high BP ?

  • Multiple antihypertensive drugs lifelong !!!
  • Problem :
  • - Multiple side effects to keep the BP within limits
  • - Reducing the blood pressure in atherosclerosis and clogged vessels can actually impair the perfusion to vital organs and cause untoward effects ( U or J phenomenon of mortality )

Hence it is not beneficial to start antihypertensive medications unless the Blood pressure is more than 150/90 mm Hg.

Are any natural cures valuable?

  • Green leafy vegetables and beetroot can increase nitric oxide production naturally
  • Adequate sun exposure is a must for sulfation of cholesterol and to energize the circulatory system.

How do we Cure high BP without drugs?

  • Reversing Insulin resistance can augment nitric oxide production by endothelial cells lining the blood vessels &
  • Reversing hyperinsulinemia eliminates excess sodium and water retention from the body respectively.

How long does it take to normalize Blood pressure in our program ?

  • This can normalize BP within weeks without any drugs !!!
